I am a experienced psychotherapist and counsellor working in the Victoria and Westminster area of London SW1. As a member of The British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) and the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), I am listed on their public registers and bound by their ethical codes.
I work from the principle that difficulties in the present may relate to earlier life experiences. Understanding the causes of these can relieve stress and open up the possibility of change. All of us experience anxiety, depression, stress, bereavement or relationship issues at some time in our lives. Whatever the nature of your current difficulties, meeting with a psychotherapist or counsellor can offer a safe and confidential space in which to speak freely without fear of judgement.
An initial meeting can seem daunting, but will give you a taste of how sessions will feel. Therapy is a very personal thing and relies in part on how comfortable you feel talking to your therapist. There is no obligation to continue after the initial meeting if you feel that I am not the right therapist for you. During the initial session we will explore the nature of your issues and how I may help. We will then discuss together how best to proceed. Sometimes a second meeting is necessary to decide if further sessions are appropriate.
I offer both open-ended counselling and psychotherapy as well as time limited counselling (6 or 12 sessions). Sessions start on the hour and last 50 minutes. I work from a comfortable consulting room close to Victoria Station and within easy reach of Westminster, Pimlico, Belgravia, Chelsea and other areas of Central London.
The fee for an initial assessment session and any subsequent assessment is £60 and is payable on the day by cash or cheque.
Individual weekly ongoing sessions cost £55.
If you are looking for a psychotherapy or counselling in London SW1 please phone, text or email, and I will respond as soon as possible.
